  • Kuvaus: Paul is a romantic young man who confronts his father, a doctor and teacher, and decides to discontinue his studies and devote himself to music. At the same time, his girlfriend leaves him, and he takes to the street with his guitar. Life among common people is carefree, and he enjoys the company and friendship of wandering musician and philosopher Apostolos Flou, while he has a relationship with Anastasia. His meeting with the director of a record company, however, falls short of expectations. He is disillusioned. Anastasia leaves him, too, because she considers him immature. Flou kills himself in a most poetic manner, and Paul falls in love with Irini, a journalist he met during the filming of a television program. After his father's death, he becomes somewhat reconciled with life and continues his studies. He marries Irini, has two children, graduates and starts working as a doctor. His struggle, however, is not over yet. He has not become entirely reconciled to his newly settled existence, since his inner soul is beyond the reach of the forces of alienation.
